Over the next seven years, West Wales and the Valleys will continue to benefit from European Structural Funds. Between 2007-2013, Wales will receive £1.3 billion of European funding under the Convergence programmes.

Over the next 7 years a further £93m will be channelled through the Regional Competitiveness and Employment programmes 2007-2013 into East Wales.
