The Atlantic Area Programme has now reached around 98 % commitment covering 63 projects. At this point, taking into consideration the existing funds and further funds to be released by some projects in the forthcoming month, a project extension facility has been designed.

Call for tenders for Experts to carry out thematic INTERREG IVC programme capitalisation

A training and information seminar for Lead Partners of new projects will be organised in Porto on 17 & 18 April.

The NWE Programme will hold two important activities on 5th and 6th June in Dortmund, Germany.

The NW E Secretariat are offering individual meetings on the 3rd and 13th April 2012 (individual Sessions of 1hr 15min) in Lile (France).

The 10th call opens soon with a deadline of 10th May (probably being the final call). An applicants workshop will take place on the 28th February in Glasgow. Demand is likely to be high for this event, so please book early to avoid disappointment. You need to register by 15 February.

As part of the 2011 Irish Presidency of the Atlantic Area Programme,  the BMW Regional Assembly will host an EU Conference at the  Grand Hotel, Malahide, Dublin on the 7th February 2012 on the ‘Marine Economy and the EU Atlantic Strategy’.

The Ireland and UK Contact Points for the North West Europe programme are organising a Project Development Workshop in Dublin on 1 December 2011.

The Joint Technical Secretariat has organised a meeting which will take place on first level control this year.

The Ireland Wales Annual Event 2011 "Cross Border Partnerships: Connecting Regions and People" will be held at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin on Thursday 6th October.

The NWE Contact Point team are running 2 workshops in London on 15th July for UK and Irish partners.

Potential applicants are invited to a transnational workshop on project development opportunities for funding in North West Europe in Paris on 24 June 2011.

A survey has been launched aimed at all potential beneficiaries. Including existing stakeholders of the Atlantic Area Programme and anyone interested in participating or remaining informed on any aspects of the Programme.

Organisations based in Ireland and Wales, intending to submit an application for funding under the 5th call, are invited to apply to attend the following Applicants’ Information Workshop.

Deadline for applications is the 30th April 2011.

The fifth call for proposals under the Ireland Wales Programme is now open.

NWE 8th Call is open with a deadline for applications of April 1st 2011.

An applications surgery is to be held in Birmingham on February 18 2011.

The Interregional Cooperation INTERREG IVC launched its fourth and final open call on 1 December 2010. The Call will remain open until 1 April 2011.

The INTERREG IVB North West Europe is holding a thematic workshop on Priority 4: promoting Prosperous Communities in Brussels.

A project development and applicants' workshop for the INTERREG NW Europe programme will be held in Nottingham on Monday 10 January 2011.

A fourth call for INTERREG IVC projects will be open from 1 December 2010 to 1 April 2011.

A call for proposals is open seeking strategic projects from suitable Irish Welsh partnerships.
