Objective 3
Objective 3 combats long term unemployment; assisted young people and those at risk from exclusion from the workforce; promotes equal opportunities and improved women’s position in the workforce; promotes adaptability and entrepreneurship in the workforce; and improve training, education and counselling for lifelong learning.
Objective 3 is funded through ESF. Some £96 million of EU grant has been committed to a variety of projects, representing a total project investment of over £229 million in East Wales.
The programme is delivered and monitored in partnership.
