LEADER+
LEADER +, a Community Initiative funded through the EAGGF, aimed to pilot innovative approaches to rural development that would contribute to a more sustainable society, economy and environment for rural Wales. LEADER+, in addition, funded transnational projects.
LEADER+ activities in Wales addressed three main themes:
- Improving the Quality of Life in Rural Communities;
- Adding Value to local products; and
- Making the best use of natural and cultural resources
The programme is delivered and monitored in partnership.
