EQUAL
EQUAL, a Community Initiative funded through ESF, aimed to promote new ways of combating all forms of discrimination and inequalities in relation to the labour market, and was funded through transnational projects.
EQUAL also included action to help the social and vocational integration of asylum seekers/refugees.
EQUAL was a European wide programme and was taken forward on a GB basis with the UK Department for Education and Employment (DfEE) in the lead.
The programme is delivered and monitored in partnership.
