Publicising your project
In line with the EU information and publicity requirements, it is essential to promote the achievements the European Structural Funds programmes are making in Wales.
Publicising your projectPromoting European Structural Funds support for your project to the general public, your staff and beneficiaries is a key condition of grant (European Regulations EC No 1083/2006). Right from the start, WEFO can help you meet these European Commission requirements: from helping you with your press releases and organisation of Ministerial visits and official launches, as well as advising you on the correct use of logos, commemorative plaques, billboards, letterheads, and other publicity materials.
Please read the Guidelines on Information and Publicity for the 2007-2013 (based on requirements of the EC Regulations) to help you effectively promote the support received from the European Structural Funds, including the correct use of Logos.
Press releasesIf you are preparing or would like us to produce a press release for your project launch or event, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can advise on the requirements for acknowledging the European funding support and, where appropriate, arrange the inclusion of a Ministerial quote and / or ministerial attendance at the proposed event.
Website and newslettersWe would like to share news and photographs about your project on the WEFO website, within our bi-monthly, external newsletter, EU4U, and for other publicity material including brochures.
To ensure that information and publicity measures are fully integrated into project delivery arrangements.
