The Welsh European Funding Office (WEFO) is part of the Welsh Government and manages the delivery of the EU Structural Funds programmes in Wales.

Progress on 2007-2013 programmes

30 April 2013 : 283 projects approved, a total investment of £3.84bn (EU funds over £1.89bn - 101% of total EU funds) across Wales.

EU projects have already assisted some 390,200 participants, of which over 127,500 have been supported to gain qualifications and some 47,300 helped into work. In addition, more than 18,000 (gross) jobs and some 5,200 enterprises have been created.
