WEFO

The Welsh European Funding Office (WEFO) is part of the Welsh Assembly Government and manages the delivery of the EU Structural Funds programmes in Wales.

Progress on 2007-2013 programmes

31 July 2010: 178 projects approved, a total investment of over £2.7bn (EU funds of over £1.3bn) across Wales.

EU projects have assisted some 119,355 participants, of which over 14,100 have been helped into work and some 40,440 supported to gain qualifications; while 4,085 (gross) jobs and 1,070 new enterprises have been created.
