WEFO

The Welsh European Funding Office (WEFO) is part of the Welsh Government and manages the delivery of the EU Structural Funds programmes in Wales.

Progress on 2007-2013 programmes

31 January 2012: 255 projects approved, a total investment of some £3.18bn (EU funds some £1.6bn - 84% of total EU funds) across Wales.

EU projects have assisted over 284,000 participants, of which over 81,000 supported to gain qualifications and over 33,600 helped into work; while some 10,000 (gross) jobs and some 2,000 new enterprises have been created.
