Progress on 2007-2013 programmes

30 November 2014 : 290 projects approved, a total investment of £3.7bn (EU funds £1.9bn - 105% of total EU funds) across Wales.

EU projects have already helped some 189,200 people to gain qualifications and some 61,300 into work, and created some 30,300 (gross) jobs and over 10,400 enterprises.

2014-2020 programmes

The European Regional Development (ERDF) Operational Programmes for the West Wales & the Valleys and the East Wales regions were approved 18 November 2014 by the European Commission.

The European Social Fund (ESF) Operational Programmes for the West Wales & the Valleys and the East Wales regions were approved 4 December 2014.
